Belgian leads Council team
It's no wonder that the East Riding of Yorkshire Council provides such wonderful support to the cycling championships. The secret is out, as Alan Menzies, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Assistant Chief Executive explained.
"My Events and Conference Manager, Paul Roggeman, is a Belgian who really knows his bike racing. Paul has worked on the Kelloggs Tours and the Milk Race in previous years, giving him the technical background to support the Race Team". Paul leads a team of East Riding of Yorkshire Council officers who work alongside joint Race Directors Andrew Cawley and Les Barratt, as well as with Humberside Police.
